All women who are (or who have been) sexually active should have regular cervical smears. You will receive a reminder to attend for a cervical smear test every 3 years. These tests are carried out by the practice nurses unless there is a problem, in which case the doctor may need to carry out the test. Please make an appointment to see the practice nurse
